Hillary: Ready! . . . for irony

Hillary Clinton's campaign has put out a new ad that uses Osama bin Laden and other frightening images of war and disaster to make the point that she's the person you want in the White House.

Hubby Bill had something to say about that sort of campaigning back in 2004:

"Now one of Clinton's Laws of Politics is this: If one candidate's trying to scare you and the other one's trying to get you to think; if one candidate's appealing to your fears and the other one's appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope."

Hillary should be ashamed of herself. But how about the irony of the North Carolina Republican Party's new ad campaign? John Mccain actively seeks, and is happy to accept, an endorsement by John Hagee, but Obama is an extremist becuase Jeremiah Wright used to be his pastor?

Many is the NSA and Cia believe Bin Laden is dead ; The voice that you hear all the time has been another man for a long while. The al queda has played this game for a while to make you think BIN LADEN is immortal. We believe he may have been hit by a missle or died of nature causes. They have had People dress up as Bin LADEN in make up this I believe is not him either; They would have caught him by now and if he is dead al queda is dead and will disinegrate.

The most important issue in this election is unfortunately not even being discussed. It is the rewarding of those guilty of poor judgment, which resulted in calamitous actions. Namely, John McCain and Hillary Clinton. That America, the nation, is virtually in total denial of what these two did in voting to dive head long into Iraq is reprehensible. They, Hillary and John, are going all over the country touting their vast experience and readiness to lead. Where is the evidence? When it came to the most important decision they ever made in the public arena, they came up awfully short.
They voted to, in effect, attack another country virtually without provocation. The experts on the ground were summarily pushed aside like so much shaft in the wind, to make way for the invasion. Now, we suddenly hear left and right, listen to the folks on the ground! Both McCain and Clinton as experienced as they are supposed to be didn't even bother to read the intelligence estimates on Iraq. How callous can one be with the lives of the sons and daughters of others?
Those, who flew the planes into our buildings were neither from nor trained in Iraq. The base of Bin Laden and Taliban was Afghanistan. Bush went racing into the Middle East, came to a fork in the road and "took it" smack dab into Iraq. McCain and Clinton voted for this blockbuster blunder. Here we are, stuck in a hole from which we cannot escape. Millions of deaths and casualties have followed, a trillion dollar nightmare, sending the economy tettering on bankruptcy, is being thrust upon the taxpayers and two, who help sponsor this debacle, are running for President.
Maybe I don't have a proper understanding of the term elitism. But, I believe that they feel exempted from the rules, which would get most Americans kicked out the door of our employers were we involved in such a huge blunder. Are the taxpayers and voters so blind and gullible that these two have no problem looking straight into cameras and say: "Vote for me." “I want a promotion and a pay raise.“ That they can do this, says something unflattering about their characters, doesn't it? Also, what message does it send to our youth and the world that we even tolerate them being in the race? Mughabe of Zimbawe must be feeling quite comfortable. We are talking third world attitudes and activities here.

Yes, it's true Hillary, the new Annie Oakley, corkscrew landing sniper fire dodger, Ireland peace negotiator, and liar did vote for the Iraq War.
However, she voted for it; but she didn’t read the NIA Report.
Ready for day one? I think not!
Obama has more votes which she is trying to steal. Nothing changes. Ughh, in other words that would be the 3rd stolen election! After signing the pledge, since she does not have enough votes; why not count Florida and Michigan. Oh,and while the serial lying is duping people (mostly uniformed/uneducated about the rules); blame Obama; especially since she’s losing. Obama disenfranchised the voters, she says, when in reality it’s a lie. Obama hasn’t disenfranchised voters; it’s the DNC who makes the decision not Hillary or Obama.

Don’t believe her. At 3: AM she‘ll probably be taking another shot.

COLIN POWELL made the case against Iraq based upon Military Intelligence, especially satellite intelligence indicating Mobile Weapons of Mass Destruction. Since Iraq was under Sanction and Probation, and the Weapon Instructor were given the run-a-round by Saddam... Saddam Hussein, bluffed to have Weapons and pretended to have Weapons of Mass Destruction ,and he wouldnot follow the Rules of The International Court. George W. Bush Jr. Declared War on Iraq, based upon weak Intelligence, on his own. Neither Congress nor Hillary Clinton voted for a War. George W Bush Jr ,also, was to finish what his father George H Bush Sr started.

Hillary Rodham has been against Wars since engaging in anti-Vietnam War Rallys back in the 60's. Today she has formed a Military Coalition to end the Iraqi War, responsibly, and bring our soldiers home. She also have the Military Backing, and Know How to continue fighting the War On Terror in Afghanistan...This time, under her Administration, our Troops in Afghanistan will have the proper Armor and Equipment to Win The War on Terror.

According to Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton Biography, she was first introduced to Civil Rights at the age of 15. It was then she attended a Civil Rights Rally by the late great Rev Dr Martin L King Jr, in 1962. She even met him in person after the rally. While, also, still in high school, she was a babysitter for Immigrant Workers , who worked the field.

In 1965 she integrated an all white church in Wellesley Massachusetts. It was a stir!!! In 1966, after becoming President of the Wellesley College Student Union she was able to negotiate, with college staff, about increasing the black student enrollments and the black faculty jobs. She was proud to say that the black student population went from 10 to more than 100 in 1969. In 1969 she graduated from Wellesley College and was a Spokesperson at her graduation. She was then labeled by Life Magazine as on her way to becoming a political meteor.
It was also about this time that she was involved in both Civil Rights and Anti-Vietnam War Rallys...After Graduation from Wellesley, she had the option of attending Harvard or Yale Law School. Since Harvard didnot support Women Rights, she went to Yale Law School.

Today, it still haunts her that she had participated in an on campus rally, and approximately several days later on another campus there was a Massacre( Kent State). She could have been one of those fatality. She didnot participate in any freedom riders events because education was her number one priority.

What about our high gas prices that are making food costs go up? Why can't we open up our 50 year strategic oil reserves? Sen. Clinton wants to Sen. Obama said no. Sen. Clinton wants to have a gas tax holiday. Sen. Obama said no we need the tax money for our roads. Tell me who's side is Obama on? He voted for the 2005 energy bill giving tax relief to oil companies. Sen Clinton voted no. Have you looked into what we spend each year on oil using tax dollars? Try 600 billion.

Lets talk about lobbyists. Sen Obama has had 5 different lobbyists running state primary campaigns. Tell me the fact that he owes them for winning states will not influence him. If you belive it won't influence him I have a bridge I'll sell you cheap.

How about his health care. It is not universal even though he tell us voters we need universal health care. Sen. Clinton will help people pay for health care and will limit the cost to a small % of your income. Sen. Obama will lower the cost but you do not need to buy it. However he did tell us in the SC debate if you do not buy insurance and need it you have to pay all the back premiums up front.

Which one will help you and which one will help the lobbyists?

Look, the ad is relevant. The point is that there are serious, often unexpected issues/calamities we do and will have to deal with as a country and Hillary is best equiped to "be in charge." Totally fair and Bin Laden is one such issue if you all haven't forgotten about him as W has.

North Carolina has a chance to make history. Obama can not win the national election at this time. It becomes more apparent every week.
Hillary is well respected, connects with the party base, not loony lefties like BO does and has the strength and ability to deliver as she has a track record of doing.
Give 'em Hill North Carolina!

Here's the skinny folks.

We really need to get Hillary in office because Obama is on the side of the oil corporations. They are supporting him in this election and he supported them by voting for Cheney's energy bill.

Tom Daschle is an Advisor for Obama and is on the Advisory Board of BP, Sidley Austin is a lobbyist firm in DC and Chicago who have given lots of money to Obama's Campaign, and Excelon the company Obama watered down legislation for- "HE" wrote to help them out - these companies all contribute to Obamas campaign (opensecrets.org)

I am sick of Obama's lies.

Amberbartlett-don't believe the propaganda. Hillary's lies are on tape for all to see! Has anyone noticed the number of Hillary supporters signing in as anonymous?Hmmmm...

In Obama first publication " Dreams from My Father", in 1995, there were two pictures on the cover. Him and his sister. Obama republished " Dreams from My Father in 2004. On the cover of the second publication is three different pictures. One being a military picture... In the second publication "Dreams from My Father" he deleted approximately 50 pages to build his case for presidency ,to misslead the reader that he was a military veteran, and to reduce his exposure so no one would know about his background..... In 2006 he publish " The Audacity of Hope" building his candidacy for president even more, and building his case as a military veteran even more. His Presidential Candidacy is based around Lies, and his military background is to misslead the readers... In 2008 he, also ,indicated that in one of his debate , he first began to run for presidency 1.5 years back. His candidacy began long before 1.5 years back. From the second publication of "Dreams from My Father, you can see that his candidacy for president began as eary as 2004, which is more than 3 years.

Certain things in Obama book " Dreams from My Father" were fabricated and some things were used to protect his African Father and White Mother , by his Mother. His mother didnot want some things published. Obama did it for the money. Nor had he tithe (10% )of his books earning. He made over 4.2 million dollars in 2007, and only gave 5.7% to charity.

I believe if he would have Tithe ($420,000) to his Church, then Reverend Wright wouldnot have call him "Just a Politician".

I hope before you all go to the polls on Tuesday, you will do a little research on the "golden boy". All you have to do is research his background in Chicago and even before. The people he considers as "friends" are people most North Carolineans would not invite to their homes. Tony Rezko-on trial now, William Ayres part of the Weathermen who did not go to jail because of an error the police made, Ayres' wife Bernadine Dohrn who did go to jail for being part of an armored car holdup that killed two policemen and 1 civilian--even if Obama was a child when this happened as I was I would not be associating with him, Rev. Wright--does anyone really think he sat in church for 20 years and did not know what this man was about?, the New Black Panthers have endorsed him--I remember the old Black Panthers and remember the terror they caused, Odinga-his cousin-thug in Kenya, Larry Sinclair whom alleges he and Obama shared drugs and sex in 1999-website larrysinclair0926.wordpress.com. People WAKE UP! What you see and hear is not the "true" Obama. His agenda for America is not that of a patriotic man.

Dear Voters:

I have watched our government and media over the last 8 years, lie to us, deceive us, manipulate our fears with terror warnings and intelligence briefings. I have seen this administration completely disregard our environment and act as though the great American dollar is more important than clean air and water. More important than the human right to shelter, food and healthcare. I have seen our government give tax breaks to the richest of Americans and have seen the middle class and poorer folks get totally anhilated.

I have seen executive power at its worst and it is time for a new chapter. It is time for a strong focus on our potentially crumbling environment for children grandchildren and us. It is time for leadership in the most amazing forms and I believe that Barack Obama is that leader.

I do not care what his preacher says, I don’t care what his wife says. I care what he has to offer. I realize that the Clinton era provided plenty of tabloid news and plenty of fodder for the media and I know that this is what is currently driving the media in its pursuit of manipulating this election. I know that someone like Obama provides really no juicy tabloids like a Clinton.

Unfortunately, there are folks in this country that still make their election decisions based upon what the media tells them and it is a shame that we are not there yet. I realized last night that if the Media can affect 5% of the electing population, that 5% is enough to affect the total outcome. This is not acceptable right now. We need a new direction and if you think for one minute that voting for Hillary to continue a lesser form of a monarchy is the answer, you are wrong. This nation cannot afford divisiveness. Hillary Clinton is a likeable person after watching her for the past year, but unfortunately the Republicans have already vilified her. They have already affected the opinions of ½ the country by calling her a slob, a witch, etc. How do you see this as being able to be effective?

Imagine your first day at your new job and you find that your new boss has already told all of your peers that you are difficult, rude and incompetent. Regardless of your abilities, this does not help you in your pursuit of doing your best job. We need a leader on day 1 that can bring people together to fix our problems. Do you really think that Hillary has the ability to do that with all of her baggage? Like her or not, she is not going to bring this country together. Bill’s past and the unfortunate dislike of her won’t let it happen.

We are a generation that is fed up with our consumerism all at the hands of our oceans, mountaintops and forests. There is a younger generation who believes that we can create an energy independent world full of possibilities and full of clean renewable energy. I realize that the Oil companies in this country are enormous and pretty much run this country, but it is time to say “NO MORE”

I realize that there are racial divides in this country, but I ask that you look into the future and ask yourself if you see things really changing. Obama’s vision for clean technology is the best amongst all of the candidates. His policy and plans for this country have the real potential for bringing this country together to build a totally new, renewable economy. If we do not act on the environment, it may be too late. If we do not act on Social Security, it may be too late. If we do not act on bringing the parties together and working to solve our problems, it may be too late.

Thanks for listening and please consider Voting for Barack Obama on Tuesday. Really consider it!

I am a proud Pensylvania, and want you to know why we chose Clinton over Obama. He said behind closed doors in CA., that we were 'Bitter", and clung to our guns and religion because of economic woes. Even worse he inferred we are a bunch of bigots who don't accept any one not like us, ( anti-immigration, anti-trade, etc.)He never expected us to hear his comments. Because we did hear his comments, we learned how he really feels about the hard working middle class that built this great country. After that, our belief in his " Hope " for this country was sadly lost in him. I hope you will join us and vote Clinton in your primary. Thank you for listening to a non-resident who strongly believes she is the hope for this great nation.
